MirrorCool Convex Mirror Glass for Geco mirror with reference number ‘187’ stamped into the back of the mirror housing.
Glass only. (If your mirror still has the original surround, you may like to to know that we have had replacements made in more flexible and durable silicone rubber). Glass size: 210mm x 140mm.
Convex mirrors give the driver a wider field of view, however this also means that images in the mirror appear to be further away than they actually are. This information is not printed on the glass and so may not be suitable for some areas outside of Europe, where this may be a legal requirement.
Geco 187 mirrors were the larger of the two most common mirrors to be fitted to Citroen H-vans and also some Peugeot & Renault vans of the 1960s & 1970s. Often the Geco 187 was fitted to the right-hand (passenger) side, with the smaller Geco 36 on the left.
