2CV Window Catch, Best Quality, Better Securing System

The best quality original-design window catches, using better quality components and a better securing system.

We have sourced the best available window catches, done away with the central plastic peg and replaced it with a special stainless steel inox screw, providing:

• Easier fitting: Just push the clip into the door, then turn the special screw clockwise a few turns*,
• Longer life: Catch-spring is made from stainless steel, so will not rust & weaken,
• More securely attached: Special screw applies outward pressure to the 4 locating lugs, (slightly more than the standard original-quality window catch),
• Much easier removal, (if you ever need to): Just undo the special screw to loosen, (They will not corrode & seize like the copies!),
• Original design but with better quality components and better securing system.

These are the best you can buy, anywhere. (Some places offer cheap, terrible quality versions. We do not).

Also suitable for Mehari but PLEASE NOTE: On a Mehari, they fit on the opposite sides to that of 2cvs, so you will need to select left for right, or right for left!

*Please note: You only need to turn the special screw a few turns: enough to allow the spring-clip to hold the peg on the flip-up window. Do not keep screwing it in until it falls into the inside of the door! If you do, you will need to turn the door upside down to attempt to retrieve it!
