Please Read Description
The Good Bits:
MoT status – just expired but has been MoT’d successfully for 17 years.
Chassis – galvanised aftermarket chassis of the Wheels or GW type, with bottom skin. Although not original style or ‘premium’ type, it’s a solid, usable chassis from the 1990s – 2000s and won’t rust.
Floors – very good, probably replacements.
Sills – good, but starting to bubble at seem with floor on RHS.
Rear box section (under rear seats) – very good.
Inner rear wings – good, but no rear seat belt mounts fitted.
Front seatbelt mounts on sills – good.
Toe board – looks solid, replacement, probably replaced along with floors.
Doors – great, nice and straight, in original paint.
Bonnet – straight, solid. Grille intact.
Front wings – aftermarket replacements, not original, paint ok.
Rear window surrounds – ok.
A/B/C pillars – good. C pillar rear wing thread holes all intact.
Roof – new Matt’s roof included, still in box.
Tyres – Recent MCC 125s
Vent flap – good
Interior plastic trim – not cracked and intact!
The Less Good Bits:
Engine – Not currently running, but it has recently.
Battery – likely needs replacing.
Body paint – has been resprayed, paint is lifting in places, probably due to poor prep. All paint has lifted from lower windscreen scuttle, bare metal showing.
Rear wings – holed. Rusty. Need replacing.
Existing roof – dead, but quality Matts replacement included.
Headlamps – RH needs replacing.
King pins – MoT history shows KPs probably need changing.
Wheel bearings – MoT history shows front wheel bearings probably need changing.
The Bad Bits:
Rear sweeps – rusted through on both sides. Some sections missing completely.
Rear light panel – rusted through. Some sections missing completely.
Boot floor – rusting, is on its last legs (as per MOT advisories for last few years)
Inner wing to boot floor seem – “frilly” and starting to rust through.
LH inner wing/body seem – Starting to blow out. Rusty.
Windscreen surround – rusted through. Hole on RHS of vent flap. Rusted through between wiper spindles.
Bulkhead – rusted through and holed on RHS below corresponding hole in windscreen surround.
A panel RHS – blowing out at join with A pillar.
Other notes
Ignition – points and condenser
Seats – haven’t collapsed.
Rear seat – available but not fitted. There are no seat belt mounts, so seatbelts cannot be fitted.
Rubber floor mats – original, present and intact!
Tie rod rubbers – need replacing.
Has Club/Charleston style dashboard and door hinge covers.
“Flick switch” ignition. Ignition barrel present.
