This gorgeous bleu des tropiques 2cv6 Spécial was rebuilt by its owner, in conjunction with ourselves and with a partial respray by JM automotive solutions, in 2021. Prior to that it had been off the road since the late ’90s, and effort was made to maintain as much of its original (in both senses of the word) features, rather than totally erasing its history.
Whilst the dark “Dolly” lines on the doors and bootlid lighting/plate may not be to everyone’s taste, this is a great example of a 2cv. At the time of the rebuild it received an SLC chassis, a fully stripped and rebuilt 652cc engine, new floors, toeboard, sills, bonnet hinge, wings, bumpers, wheels, tyres, roof, shock absorbers, all wheel bearings, full braking system, alternator, 123 ignition, dry resin coil, and much more! It has passed every MOT since with no advisories, the most recent of which was last week. Therefore, we believe it fully justifies the owner’s asking price of £11,000.
