Mirror Glass & Surround Kit (Geco 30, 196 or 280)

MirrorCool Glass & Surround Kit Combined*, for Geco mirror with reference number ’30’ , ‘196’ or ‘280’ stamped into the back of the mirror housing.

(*If you don’t need a new glass, a surround kit without a glass, is also available for this type of Geco mirror).

Kit includes:

• Flexible silicone rubber grey surround trim. (UV & temperature resistant, so won’t shrink or crack: will remain flexible).
• Convex* mirror glass. (Made to EU automotive standard: 1st-surface chromed convex glass with slight tint).
• Foam backing pad. (Waterproof closed-cell & made to be adaptable for use with either flat or convex mirror-glass).

Geco 30 or 196 or 280 mirrors (with various different arms) were fitted to 1960s Citroen Dyane & Ami 6 to some other French cars (& mopeds) of the era. It was also sold as an accessory item for various vehicles, sometimes with a fixing that clamped onto the edge of the door window frame for earlier cars such as Traction Avant and many other cars that did not originally come with mirrors.
