MirrorCool Surround Kit to replace the cracked or crumbling grey surround on original Geco mirror with reference number ’22’ , ‘274’ or ‘275’ stamped into the back of the mirror housing. (Also suitable for Gemo mirror with ‘438‘ reference number).
Kit includes:
- Flexible silicone rubber surround trim. (UV & temperature resistant, so won’t shrink or crack: will remain flexible).
- Foam backing/spacing pad. (Waterproof closed-cell & made to be adaptable for use with either flat or convex mirror-glass).
(This particular kit does not include a glass. We do sell a similar kit with a glass: GECO22SG ).
Choose from the following colours:
- Light Grey
- Dark Grey
- Green (limited-edition)
- Red (limited-edition)
Geco 22, 274, 275 mirrors were fitted to almost all Citroen 2CV, Dyane, Ami, Mehari, AK, etc, (from early 70s to 1990), and some other Citroens, Peugeots, Renaults and also some Morgans. They were sometimes also supplied as after-market accessory mirrors as well as extended towing mirrors. They were usually stainless steel (inox) but sometimes plastic-coated mild steel, (eg: light grey plastic coating on Citroen 2cv vans, black plastic-coating on some Renault 4). The bare glass, without surround, was 140mm x 92mm.
Gemo 438 mirrors were made in Spain under licence by ‘Gemo’ and are identical to Geco 22, 274, 275 mirrors.

These take a bit of fitting(!) but the end results are good. Follow the instructions carefully especially making sure the gap is the correct width.
