Replacement Convex Mirror Glass for our kit for Cipa mirror with reference number ‘320’, ‘355’ or ‘358’ stamped into the back of the mirror housing.
Please note: This (155mm x 102.5mm) glass is only compatible with our flexible surround. It will not fit with the original hard plastic surround, so if your mirror still has the original hard surround, then please do not order this glass. Instead, please order the ‘Mirror Glass & Surround Kit’ applicable to your mirror.
Made to EU automotive standards (as used on modern vehicle door mirrors): 2.8mm thick, 13.5m radius glass, first-surface chromed, with a slight tint.
Convex mirrors give the driver a wider field of view, however this also means that images in the mirror appear to be further away than they actually are. This information is not printed on the glass and so may not be suitable for some areas outside the EU, where this may be a legal requirement.
Cipa 355 or 358 mirrors were often fitted to the Citroen DS lower spec models (Special, Super, Confort), Citroen GS, early CX and early Visa. Also seen on a few Peugeots & Renaults. 355 and 358 mirrors have a light grey aluminium housing.
Cipa 320 mirror is a stainless steel (more shallow bodied) copy of the original 355 or 358 aluminium mirror and has been sold over the last 15-20 years as a replacement for the original 355/358 on Citroen DS and some other French classics.
