For sale 1987 Citroen 2cv6 Special Celeste blue 4 door
MOT until Aug 24. Mileage is around 112,000. Current MoT until 05/08/2025, vehicle on SORN.
She has been owned by my daughter since 2010 and driven regularly until the Summer of 2023 when she had some major refurbishment including mechanical work, welding to the body work and careful repainting. The paintwork has preserved the colour of aged celeste blue, while covering areas that were faded.
The 2cv has a galvanized chassis, which makes a real difference to the longevity of these cars. It also has electronic ignition that has enabled it to be a reliable starter.
The car has been kept under cover. I have just started it and taken it for a short drive.
Following the work carried out last Summer the 2cv passed her MoT. She now has a new MoT until August 2025.
Being 1987 it is only 3 years from becoming a Historic Vehicle with MOT exemption and free car tax.
Most drivers will be able to insure this on a classic policy for around £100 per year.
Car is UK registered and V5 is present and in my daughter’s name.
Good usable daily driver.
