1980 Citroen Acadiane for sale
This van has been known in the 2cv club for many years, but came to me in a rather sorry state. To get the car back on the road, a new SLC (Ken Hanna) galvanised chassis was fitted. This was made for me by Ken with the BMW cross member fitted should you wish to retro fit a BMW twin into the car.
Along with the chassis, new shock absorbers, spring cans, brake and fuel pipes. Parts were refreshed when refitted, including new brake shoes and bearings at the rear, combined with new disks and pads at the front. The body was rather down at heel, so new metal rear wings fitted along with brand new rear doors and fuel/side panels. The rear crossmembers had already been replaced. Cab front floor one side was replaced, with repairs to sills. To finish all this work, the van was resprayed inside and out with Rustoleum. This is not a showroom finish, but it’s a working Acadiane van.
In the engine bay, a replacement oil filler/breather is fitted alongside replacement alternator and voltage regulator. Lumenition ignition is also fitted.
The van runs on Michelin mud/snow 135 tyres. Since the photos were taken, the front bumper has been refitted.
There are a few patches of surface rust on the van that would benefit from some attention, but I have a Citroen Ami 6 that needs more attention so it is time to move this on.
