An alternative for the original repeater lamp on 2cv, CX, C15 (and some Italian-spec DS, BX, Dyane, Ami etc).

The original 2CV/C15 repeater lamp (Citroën part number 5503138) has not been available since the 1990s. Some people used to cut a larger hole in their wing and fit a later type C15 all-plastic clip-in lamp instead (as it looked similar externally) but those became unavailable a decade or so ago too. (If your 2cv has been modified in this way, see the note about later C15 below*).
So we now have an alternative:
Our repeater lamp fits in the original holes in the wing. It has a stainless ring, like the original. It is similar in size and from a distance it looks quite similar but it has a shape that, in our opinion, suits the cars better than the original.
The bulb is accessible from the back by simply pulling out the bulb-holder. It uses a capless ‘501’ bulb (supplied) which means that there is no need for an internal spring, (so, with our lamp, the common problem with the original repeater lamp’s spring corroding is not an issue).
For a 2cv, you will need to re-use the larger of the two rubbers from your original lamp, as this has a slightly curved surface to match the shape of the 2cv wing.
For a Visa or C15 up to 04/04/94, (Orga no 6356), this will fit the existing holes in the wing but for later models a plate will need to be fabricated to bridge the shaped hole, in order to mount this unit. This can be as easy as drilling a couple of extra holes in a suitable large washer. *A similar fabrication would be needed for a 2cv that has been modified to fit a late C15 plastic clip-in lamp.

Great value for a day to day car, fit well, description is spot on, they do flex when doing up have to be careful don’t over tighten, I used socket in my hand only, lens slightly loose when tight but doesn’t come out, Sure you can crimp ring if bothered.
