Right-hand 22.5cm Stainless arm for original Geco mirror arm on 2cv or Dyane or for 2cv van.
(“Left” or “Right” is always as you sit in the car, looking forwards).
Other 2cv/Dyane arms are no longer available: In 2015, we bought the last remaining original stock from the end of production by the Geco factory. (Geco made original fitment and aftermarket mirrors for Citroen and other French car manufacturers). The 16cm & 26cm arms and the left-hand 22.5cm arms are all now sold, so only the right-hand 22.5cm arms are still available.
Please note: Other parts may be required: The fixing point at the back of the mirror head is usually corroded and seized and often breaks when attempting to undo it. (Click here for swivel parts). If you already have a MirrorCool silicone surround trim on your mirror, the glass and trim can be removed and re-fitted in order to fit a new swivel kit and arm. However, if you still have the original hard plastic surround, you will need to replace it (Click here for MirrorCool silicone trim kit).
Original Applications of different length arms:
16cm arms (now unavailable) were used on the driver’s side of 2cv & Dyane cars, (whether right-hand drive or left-hand drive), towards the end of the 1960, until the end of production in 1990. If a mirror was fitted to the passenger side of a right-hand drive car, this would also have a 16cm arm.
22.5cm arms were used on both sides of 2cv vans (AZU/AK250, AK350, AK400), from the late 1960s onwards. If a mirror was fitted to the passenger side (right-hand side) of a left-hand drive car, this would have had a 22.5cm arm (still available).
26cm straight arms (now unavailable) were used on Acadianes.
