Heat Exchanger Kit: Flap Seals & Pivot Lift Spacers, 2cv, Dyane, etc

Too cold in winter?   Too hot in summer?

This kit addresses the 2 most common causes, and includes:

• 4 x self-adhesive foam sealing pads,
  • to reseal both sides of both heat-exchanger flaps,
  • to prevent loss of hot air when the heater is on,
  • to prevent unwanted hot air entering the car when the heater is off.
• 2 x Pivot Lift Spacers, (stainless steel): one for each heat exchanger flap,
  • to compensate for wear,
  • to lift each heater flap,
  • to stop it dragging/catching on the bottom of the heat-exchanger casing,
  • to allow free movement of cables and dash slide-control.
• Set of fixings to secure the refurbished heater flap assemblies within the heat-exchangers:
  • 4 x Allen screw (stainless steel),
  • 4 x Locking nut (stainless steel),
  • 8 x Washer (stainless steel).

This kit is suitable for the M28 602cc & 435cc engines fitted to Citroën 2cv from July 1971, Dyane from 1969, AK vans from May 1968, Ami from May 1968, all Mehari, etc.
