Domed star-clip to go on the 2CV boot lid support rod, or Acadiane side panel support rod, to stop it falling off.
This is to replace the original (non-domed) part that is often missing, or loose due to cracking.
It is a tighter fit than the original, and so requires a bit more effort to fit: We recommend simply removing the rod from the car first, placing the domed side of the star-clip on a cloth to protect its surface, and pushing the rod down onto the clip. Then fit rod back onto the bootlid, starting from the other end (grooved*) end of the rod.
*Note: We often see the support rod fitted upside-down!: The star-clip goes on the plain end of the rod, to hold that end to the boot-lid. The cut-out groove at the other end of the rod locates into the little bracket on the car body when supporting the open boot-lid, so that the rod can not easily be knocked out of place.
We also have a non-domed version of this click, that is simpler and more like the original Citroen part, (click here).
If you need the rubber bush that holds the rod to the bootlid, we have it here.
