1964 Citroen Bijou – for restoration.
I can’t keep them both, so the Bijou has to go…
Recovered from a deceased keeper’s estate, this super-rare Citroen is now offered to the market for the first time in (probably) 25 years.
This is really a blank canvas awaiting a potential restorer to complete how they see fit.
It is currently fitted to a fully-restored Ami Super chassis, as the previous owner was looking to fit the 1015cc engine and make it a “Bijou Super”!
You could continue in that vein, or just re-fit it onto a 2cv/ Dyane chassis and either restore to original or go the 602cc route – its up to you.
There is currently a 425cc engine/ gearbox under the bonnet – condition unknown.
The body will of course need some restoration, but it’s there awaiting prep and paint.
There is, as you can see from the photos, a whole host of parts, including a spare windscreen, two Slough hubcaps, light bars, grills etc., etc.
Available for inspection in Stratford-upon-Avon (CV37 6UW).
Please call me for any further information.
Robert.
